PTOCES - Sign me up! After seeing your website, I want to move to Tennessee and join your PTO!!!! It's easy to see that you've been insanely busy and have put your heart and soul into the site. Beautiful work!
btw - dlf mentioned that she was going to be on vacation.
A drink, huh? You should try one of those chocolate martinis or have some of the margaritas that LUV set out for us. Mmmmm mmmm mm
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."

Crew- I am so touched that you were wondering where I was. Well, I've been working my @## off at work. And to tell you the honest truth, I have found a new addiction...creating and maintaining the PTO's website. I am sooooo addicted. You must all go see it. I am proud. I have DLF to thank for some of the work on there. She has been so kind in sharing info as is everyone. go to www.orgsites.com/tn/cespto
and let me know what you think.
I finally have it mostly done, except for the bylaws - thanks to Phil - really - we still have some changes that we are working on.
I don't mean not to be on here. I have missed you all - that's why I am here tonight. Glad to catch up with you all! Ok, I promise not to keep my head focused on one thing and remember to remember my friends that got me where I am now. THANKS ALL!!!!
I'll have that drink now...

We are lucky if we get 300 out of the 500 for registration (2weeks before school starts) but they like to trail in on their own schedule up until the first day of school. Since the first day is insane without 70 people trying to enroll their kids that morning, last year they announced we would not do any enrollments on the morning of the 1st day. Lost of p*ssed off parents but we are at limited space and staff and this year enrollment was much more successful even if the majority didn't show up until the last hour and we wound up being open an hour later than we were supposed to.
I really hate parents that can't be responsible or who say I don't have enough time for..... I want to say, so you don't have time to make sure your child gets a good education? By the way, it's really hot and humid here I'm going stir crazy!!!
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
There must be something in the air: when we finished registration last week, there were over 100 kids that hadn't shown. The principal was going to spend her weekend trying to contact the parents. Sounds like fun, huh?
