Hi all: Have been away due to a terrible fall--literally broke my neck (God said "if she doesn't slow down I'm gonna break her neck")...and he did...but I survived so I guess he has a plan...Broke the C2, my left hand (typing), #1 rib, concussion, eyesocket, yikes....but typing is tough. Have been thinking of slogans for the hawks and the other 2 I owe....
Really sweet thing is the PTO made me up a bobcat bag like we do for our sick children,,,,very sweet and sounds like I won't be cooking meals for a month....

Okay--still on track to open school with a bang...this group is so together and that makes things so much easier...

Walk well...

Okay Shawn and CrewChief, we're shutting the caffeine off for you two!! Actually maybe I should just divert it to me. I fell asleep at 8:30 last night and didn't wake up until 5:45 this morning! The kids were at Grandma and Grandpa's, we had gone out for a big dinner, it was quiet, I made the mistake of lying down on the bed after changing into my pjs...end of story.

I do feel energized this morning! Ready to face the world! Well, at least ready to deal with my unpleasant coworker. Obviously he didn't get a good night's sleep. Too bad for him 'cause I'm feeling onery today!

The kids have also officially entered the "Mom is ready for them to go back to school" phase of summer.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

He'd take the bribe and then turn on me about 2 seconds later (he ain't stupid either!) feigning a sudden bit of conscience. He's completely nuts about the new D20 Modern game but even that wouldn't buy me any loyalty.

My neighbor has a horse farm at the end of our road. Maybe she needs a barn cat?

I guess I'll have to sleep on it. The froofy coffee is finally starting to wear off.... and I didn't even get any more boxes unpacked. But I did three loads of laundry so that's ok, right?

Does your son take bribes? (Not that I'd condone such a thing)

I'll send him some games (non XBox, PSP -- no videogames, unfortunately) for his assistance in this matter (No cat -- even though I'm allergic should ever be turned out -- This has been a recording -- ahh I've been brainwashed)

We have Magic Cards, Legend of the 5 Rings, AD&D, Pokeman, Star wars , Lots and Lots of Board games, and miniatures for barter...

other than that my only other suggestion would be to feighn ignorance' "Honey but we've always had this many cats, havent we?"

Yeah, but remember what I said about him:

he is completely immune to feline charms.

Even Ashley's....

I'm shamelessly trying to drag my son into the plot (on my side of course) so we can tag team Dad. Not working. He's his father's son. That'll serve him well in the dating arena (in about three more years, that is) but until then I wish he were a bit more pliable!
