Mr. Presley had a great day and only his little sister cryed when he was ready to go with his teacher. He picked the afternoon class so my hubby drove me nuts asking Pres if he had everything ready,etc. HE HAD NO CLUE he just wanted to know when he was going to ride the bus!!
My two older sons have had the same teacher, so when she was doing her presentation she looked to me a few times for answers then took a moment to embarres the crap outta me! She just gushed about having the PTO President as a parent and don't miss the monthly meetings. Did have one parent ask about times....cool.
AAAHHHH tornados. Back home in Iowa, our family loves to watch the weather especially storms. I have been in a tornado as a teen. We had one small one go through our backyard taking out about 6 trees and 2 fruit trees (yeah a 2 acre backyard!) and it ddin't even touch the house. Amazing. OH YEAH, mom and dad were two miles away in town and Dad said the wind picked and it rained hard for half hour but just a huge black cloud went over the town celebration, that was it. They surprised to see the damage but not... the 6 trees we lost were ready to go anyway. Dad just wished they would have blown down in a nice pile! HA!
Wow..... being on the wagon for 2 1/2 months has made me quite a lightweight!!! I've only had half a beer and my face is warm and my speech is slurred and I've already had to go back and fix like 10 typos....... I'd better head off to bed before I cause any trouble.
At least drinking is a lot cheaper than it used to be - I used to be able to drink the whole Corona before.

This makes me wonder how I come across at meetings?!?! I know I'm annoying, just not exactly in what way. Seriously, my replacement could come on these boards asking for help cleaning up the messes of "the last president who screwed everything up!" and I wouldn't even recognize myself. Being my typical self, I'd probably even be very sympathetic and try to help her.
