From Mammoth Caves you'd have to go a long way to get to Georgia, through the rest of KY and all of TN...... There's a lot to be said for mental blocks!!!!

We're at the Hampton Inn in lovely Bowling Green. Saw the Corvette factory where hubby used to work. A lot changes in 20 years.

Is Mammoth next to the mountaintop (cant think of the name) that also have the caves but at the top you can see like 5 or 6 states then a few miles over you can take the 385 curves (turns) into Cherokee, GA? My memeory is failing me (or it could be mental blocks from trying to forget honeymoon with ex-wife) ;)

Beech Bend it is! Our old stompin' grounds - we lived in Bowling Green about 100 years ago. Really just 20 years ago but it seems like a lifetime ago.

You're just the next county over. Mammoth Caves are amazing, as is the surrounding area. We used to love to go hiking there. I love festivals - the food, crafts, carnivals, everythig - but hubby's mind is in race mode the whole weekend. Have a funnel cake and lemon shakeup for me!

Yeah, Corona with lime is as froofie as I get with beer. Hubby likes Blue Moon with an orange wedge. It's pretty good.

We're off to Bowling Green, KY for racing this weekend. We went through the engine last weekend and everything looks good. Hopefully we'll turn out some 8.90's on the 1/4 mile and even win a few rounds. It's always fun, anyway, to beat the Corvettes. Just because they're built in Bowling Green doesn't mean we have to let them win!

Ugh Froofie beer!!! I dont like froofy drinks or coffee but see the point... Coldbeer should be just that Coldbeer and a Lime (but only in a corona) -One of my Idiotcycrasies as my wife likes to say (ie... All meat sammmiches require mustard - mayo needs to stay in the fridge unless its a hot /cold turkey snadwich right of the bird or leftovers, otherwise mustard-- Potatoe salad (Yuck) why would you want to eat cold potatoes??!!, Mexican food requires tons of sour cream, cheese and NO (g)yuaccamole)

Good think I do the cooking!!! ;)
