Gosh t, you leave the party and the whole place just shuts down!
This is how much faith my son has in me:
I told him this morning that I was going to call the PTO President to ask how I can help. He said, 'Yeah, and then you'll let her know all of the things she's doing wrong and by the end of the week
you will be running things."
No.... I
won't.... Well, maybe just a committee or two, or the bulletin board (that'd be fun) I would like to get to the bottom of the lack of involvement by both parents and staff. Not to blame anyone, just to find out why and maybe help turn things around.
Can you all imagine how embarassing it is to stand at a volunteer sign up table and have the pto leader, committee leader and the principal tell you that they aren't sure how they're going to be able to use anyone who signs up?!?!?! I got six names - four of them dads!!! - so I'll make something up if I have to.
Anyway, off the the gym and then back to spruce the place up for mil's visit. I can't wait!!!
