You had dads!! Wow! We got our dad in the divorce--literally--she got the house, car, money--her got the kids and PTO! he tells people he is our token dad!

Gosh t, you leave the party and the whole place just shuts down!

This is how much faith my son has in me:

I told him this morning that I was going to call the PTO President to ask how I can help. He said, 'Yeah, and then you'll let her know all of the things she's doing wrong and by the end of the week you will be running things."

No.... I won't.... Well, maybe just a committee or two, or the bulletin board (that'd be fun) I would like to get to the bottom of the lack of involvement by both parents and staff. Not to blame anyone, just to find out why and maybe help turn things around.

Can you all imagine how embarassing it is to stand at a volunteer sign up table and have the pto leader, committee leader and the principal tell you that they aren't sure how they're going to be able to use anyone who signs up?!?!?! I got six names - four of them dads!!! - so I'll make something up if I have to.

Anyway, off the the gym and then back to spruce the place up for mil's visit. I can't wait!!!

I always tell my kids I'll try anything once. Gotta be honest - Survivor would test me in that department. But if I didn't have to be away from my girls for so long - I'd love to try it! Probably would be voted off in 2 secs though - I tend to be a bit outspoken .,

All right all - have had a blast tonight. But gotta go to bed - school tomorrow.

Pork rinds - only the fake kind that comes in a bag and isn't really pork but something else. I was a kid, we were poor, dad loved them....

Of course if I think too much about most food origins, I'll be joining Shawn's son for bread sandwiches! I love that "bread - with a top" thing! Too cute.

I'd never make it on Survivor because I'd quit as soon as they brought out something gross to eat. We need to stick with the Big Brother or Apprentice shows.

Shout out to my friend M.U. who just led her first offical meeting as president (and frequently lurks here). Way to go M!!! I know you did an awesome job. You're the best!
