Thanks B! I know it'll be cold but those old 'Cudas love the cold. Old crew chiefs aren't so crazy about it but the cars and drives love it. Thanks for the well wishes! It's been a tough season so we're looking forward to ending the year on a good note.
My dad lives in central Wisconsin. He started winterizing last week - storm windows, mulching the garden, anti-freeze in the tractors, piles and piles of firewood and a stocked freezer and pantry. Winter can be brutal up there. I don't think I'll miss any of that!
I'm exhausted. I'm off to bed too. But first I have to have one more piece of birthday cake....

Woohoo ( that's me really excited for you and family )
LOL
Winterizing in Alabama? Never heard of it, heck we don't winterize in TN....
I can't believe that you have never had a fall break before. That's just crazy. If I don't get back on here b4 the 19th, good luck to hubby in Penn. Have fun, bet it will be COLD up there!
Thanks for the comments on the website. I get so into changing it and end up spending 4 hours at a time on it. And my hand literally falls off.

B - Even better the 2nd time around!!!! It's so great. It's easy to see how much time you put into it and all of your hard work really shows. Way to go!!!
The Alabama weather is amazing. My northern upbringing makes me feel like I should start my winterizing projects but I can't do that when it's 85 degrees outside.
We're on Fall Break starting the 19th. Another thing I love here. We've never had a Fall Break before. And, coincidentally, it's just in time for the Dutch Classic race in Pennsylvania so we won't have to take our son out of school for it. We're testing the new Hemi at IRP in Indy next weekend and hope the car will be ready for the Dutch. 800+ horsepower. It's going to be hard watching hubby run that one down the track!
CC- just thought I would update you on my website for our PTO. Yep, never got the original fixed, but started a new.

I just love it if I do say so my self. I'll buy a round of whatever all is drinking. Maybe even two, my hand is so numb from being on this computer for hours and hours.
Glad to see everyone is doing alright. We are on fall break....and I am loving the weather.
CC-how are you enjoying the weather in AL? I know what you should do, start a website for your NEW PTO and get the word out about it. Before my first one crashed we had over 2500 hits on it. People love to get info without having to talk to people. I send out mass emails begging when needed. Otherwise, I email just the important stuff.
Ya'll take care - I miss being on here. I'm addicted to web designing again.
I know! Or drink as much as we talk about drinking.
I ate the beef but not the bread because my workout buddy was there and I knew she'd tell on me.
The birthday cake was fun. I didn't make this one because they have one you can order that is a mini replica of the actual paint ball field. The boys LOVED it. It even had mini players and "splats" of paint all over it. It's so hard with boys because they don't do the whole slumber party thing very well. Way to much energy!!! My son got to have a slumber party for his 10th birthday. Aye yi yi. Never again.
CC - way to go! nothing better than a birthday party success!
The sandwiches sound yummy. Thank goodness we don't eat as much as we talk about eating! I'd weigh a ton by now
