Our carnival is next Saturday and I'm starting to freak out. This is my 3rd time as coordinator and 4th time doing planning and setup, but I still find myself freaking out. You would not believe the numerous checklists I have!!!
Also, for those that don't know, the Little Mermaid was rereleased this week. I love the movie so we watched it last night as a family. I remember the first time I saw it thinking how awesome it looked and now, well, not so much. My sons all seem to like it, but my youngest keeps asking to watch it, and since I'm doing carnival stuff and he is sick, I've been letting him. I think it's on it's 4th run today. I have a feeling we are going to have to buy another copy because this one is getting worn out! But those songs never get old.
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
Glad the salad went well CC. As for the hurt feelings on the other board...I do dislike it when someone misinterprets something from me. Oh well...maybe they need a free slogan ....d
LOL t--I mean Crazy--it happened to me too! Our Prez was lurking and realized who I was! Good thing we see eye to eye on everything! I guess you can run but you can't hide!
I had to change my user name - belive it or not someone I know figured me out (I wasn't real creative with the user ID choice I made)! I really enjoy the openess and honesty about the issues on this board and wanted to stay on ......hence the change.
But it's still me!

(Wow - just realized all my previous post have been changed to my new user id. Pretty snazzy site Tim!)

Good luck with the fundraiser t. It sounds interesting!
I'm calling the PTO pres on Monday. I hope it goes well. My impression is that she's working hard, maybe a bit overwhelmed, and doing the best she can with the few who show up to help. It's made me feel way too guilty about 'taking the year off'. It was nice while it lasted, even if it was just 4 months.
Must be a brownie kind of night. My son made his favorite Ghirardelli brownies for dessert tonight. They were YUMMY!
