My son's teacher laughed at me this morning, and I don't mean a little snicker, I mean a lean back in his chair laugh out loud. I was going to punch him, but then he apologized and told me it would be okay.

Why was he laughing? Because I came in with the treats for my son's birthday and it was a giant variety bag of snack size chips. It would have been fine if I hadn't opened my mouth and told him how guilty I felt about not baking anything. Yes, I felt guilty. I'm the made from scratch queen and I failed to fulfill my duties. I just had no time. I would have had time if I hadn't developed an eye infection that put me in the doctor's office for two hours.

He told me it was okay, they're 5th graders and they eat anything and are happy just because it's food.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

Hi everyone - thought I'd stop in to page 2 and see what everyone's up to. I might be able to help...

My oldest takes albuterol as needed for mild allergy related asthma. Seems like the first couple doses she gets pretty hyper after, then her system seems to adjust. I've also run into the expiration date dilemma and pharmacy said they should be fine to use for up to 6 months after, just a bit weaker.

HALLOWEEN!! I love it! A couple costume ideas I've been a part of -
1. Fred and Wilma Flinstone
2. The old bald dancing guy from the 6 Flags Commercials
3. Fully clothed people wearing signs around their necks saying: Nudists on Strike!
4. Pink Ladies
5. My husband dressed up in drag

Sorry CC- I didn't even see your post when I said it was lonely here this morning! Oopsie- need some more coffee.

Hi Menlo!

I saw a clip this morning but didn't stick around for the segement- On the Today show they were having a segment about how spanking your child can help them become more successful adults!
Did I miss the time machine trip back to the 1950's? What the *&#$ is happening here!?!? ...One small spank for a kid, one giant leap backward for mankind... Think this will give a few child-beaters the affirmation they needed that they are doing the right thing? Wonder if Peggy saw it..
