ScottMom - take it easy..... I'm glad to hear you aren't seriously injured!

I just got an email from a magazine subscription company, Primedia, that I really like. In my opinion, they're trustworthy. Anyway, they have a program called Subscriptions for Soldiers and I thought some of you might be interested in it:

So the doctor says I'll be sore for a few day so I should take it easy. What does that mean? She has 3 kids but she has a nanny and a housekeeper too so it drives me nuts when she tries to sympathize.
I went out to check the mail and the puppy was on the step and I almost stepped on him (you'd think he'd move when the door opened right over him!)and I fell again! I think my husband is going to put up videocameras all over so he can watch how klutzy I am when he's not around. I'm sure he'd get a real show, between the 3 kids and the 2 dogs underfoot (plus the holes they dig in the yard) I'm a mess.
On the upside, not much is bothering me right now. Maybe I'll go rake the yard clean out the toy boxes. Tonight is Math Night, I hope I get to be a mom and not PTO Pres tonight.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

A quick Google search yields this recipe:

southernfood.about.com/od/crockpotporkandham/r/bl65c12.htm

Crock Pot Tenderloin with Apples

2 pork tenderloins (1 1/2 to 2 lbs total)
1 large onion, halved and cut in 1/4-inch slices
2 apples, peeled and coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons apple jelly
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
salt and coarsely ground black pepper to taste
PREPARATION:
Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker/Crock Pot (brown pork if desired). Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours. Serve with rice.
Serves 4 to 6.

Notice under the recipe there is a list of More Pork Tenderloin Recipes.

I really like the message too. My friend has a way of sending very meaningful messages as we both know that women need to learn to raise each other up whenever we get the chance. I'm glad you got something out of it too!

What is it with people falling and getting hurt in here? First D, now you. Hope all is ok!

CC- I love that.

my kids are out today, teacher workday/voting. THEY ARE DRIVING ME BONKERS!!! How come I never get to win at Monopoly? And why do they make those little easy bake ovens with such small openings? I've burnt my fingers 2x already.

Was it in here there was crock pot recipes? Can you put a pork tenderloin in a crockpot? I did a boston butt the other day and it was awesome. I'm jsut getting into the crockpot thing. I LOVE those banquet ones. The chicken and dumplings is so good!

Wow CC! That really hit home with me today. Thanks for sharing. I don't post as much as I use to, but I do check in every day to see what's going on.
