bizy--as i was voting, my youngest YELLS out don't vote for XXX mom! So much for privacy of voting. A guy running for gov. here is named Mark Taylor and in line my boys were talking about how the winner of American Idol was going to be our new gov. I'm glad they are interested. They both talked the sticker man out of "I voted" stickers!

Tim-We would all be lost with page 2 and PTO today! Thank you for all you do!

I've only been a registered voter for a few years and wasn't going to vote today, but my 13 year old son asked me after school if I had voted yet and told him no I wasn't going to. He said, be a citizen mom and vote. So I took his advise and when I got back in the car he started clapping. Sometimes kids can show us what's the right thing to do. He said he can't wait until he can vote. Makes me very proud.

Moving is hard... and I wont even blame anyone (well I'll try not to)

I just hope people have gotten out TO VOTE.... only in the greatest Democracy does about 25% turn out to vote.... THAT is Pathetic (I realize their are myriads of reason and a lot are valid for not but as a whole not)

Bless the USA and may the best win (evenif they arent Republicans ;) )

Thanks Tim

Oh, Tim knows we love and appreciate him! It's comforting, yet kinda scary, how he's always there....

We're all hoping for an early bedtime tonight. Son is recovering from a bad cold. Hubby had some yucky kind of stomach ailment that kept him tossing and turning (and a few other things) all night last night. Wife/Mother has to keep everything going no matter what.

Shawn, if you wake up to a Liberal majority tomorrow, don't blame me. I didn't register in Alabama in time to vote (yes, I am ashamed to admit that...) so I have to take whatever we get without grumbling.

CC-Thanks for the site. We participate in a lot locally but I'm always looking for something new to support our troops.

Tim-Thanks for this site, it's my saving grace some days, and for page 2.

I may sound crazy but I'm just tired of needing two of me and trying to keep my blood pressure down. The meds have kicked in, and after making it through Math Night, I'm getting to take it a little easier. Now I'm just hanging out watching the elections. I don't care who wins, I just hope they can make things better.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
