I know, I know.... Here's the thing. If it isn't part of a particular project it doesn't go into a binder, just a bottomless-pit-of-doom laundry basket. That's why hubby always says, "If it were for a PTO project, you'd.... blah blah blah" He's right.
Now I'm off to get estimates for a vinyl fence to go around a swimming pool that I never even got to swim in....
btw - there's a swimming pool binder.

Welcome Nic, I have also been involved in parent groups for 8 years. My daughter is a 7th grader and my son is in 5th so this is my last year at elementary. Served as Prez for 3 years too!! Can't even begin to tell you how much great advice and ideas I've gotten here not to mention it's just a great place to vent if you have the need. There is always someone who has "been there, done that" that can at least give you some sympathy.
Now just the other day CC was lamenting about being disorganized and here she is telling us about her binders.....
Seriously, I get a high from office supply stores. I LOVE all the pens and folders and notebooks.
Wow, we have lots in common. I have a boy in 7th grade. Have been involved with parent groups for 9 years, was president of the last one for three years. LOVE PTO Today and especially the Social-Page Two page. I haven't been to a conference yet but I'm thinking about the one in Chicago this year...
I'm having too much fun today. One of my favorite things to do is set up a folder for a new project. This time it's for the move from Alabama back to Illinois. I'm such a cheeseball! I like the dividers, the at-a-glance calendar pages, the to-do lists, everything. Every project I have has a folder or binder around somewhere for it. I lost one once and the whole project came to a standstill until I could reconstruct it. It was awful! I know, I'm a dork. Hey, maybe that should be my new title: CrewChief - She's a Big Dork...

I've been lurking and getting great ideas on this site for a little over a year. I am in my 8th year with PTO for my kiddos school in Wy (various positions, prez for the last 3). I attended the PTO today conference in Nashville last year with 3 friends and loved it. 2 kiddos, one in 7th (first year of the dreaded Junior High), one in 5th. Thanks for being so welcoming!
onaroll, I didn't sit/lie around the whole time although the pain meds did make me very drowsy. I still did PTO stuff-I counted book fair money, and filled out all the paperwork!
CC, you bet it does, along with chrome mag wheels, leather wrapped arm rests, and a seat with built in heat/AC and massage action.
