Did that last summer. Big slab of concrete in a really visible location does wonders for resale value.... but I'm still glad we did it. You're right, the neighborhood kids are in our yard a lot, which is good. This summer's project: painting the court. Haven't decided yet whether it will be Celtics green-and-white or ND blue-and-gold.

I swear the basement was supposed to be done in a month...took 4 and this pool was supposed to be done in November...Actually the flowers thing is a nice idea...maybe a mud bath is in order ....darn Virginia clay..the boxers just LOVE it and are all orange at the end of the day.
Just found out no one would volunteer to be the kids soccer coach (5 year olds) so guess what I'm doing...I mean I could coach rugby before soccer...I've never even been to a soccer party--or watched a whole game...I hope they are mindless little guys...and that I can guilt a more "able bodied" person into taking the reins...hahahaha

A basketball court sounds fun, LUV! Your house is probably already the favorite of all the neighborhood kids with all of that baking going on.

Hey Shawn.... How's Vegas treating you? I have to say, hubby was jealous that I threw a song your way. He was having a bad day yesterday and I was less than sympathetic. He says, "Oh, sure, Shawn is having a bad day and you send him a song. But what do I get? Nothing..." So, today while he's been busy working at his patio office, I've been playing pool girl. Actually, it's been a yucky job because it was such a mess. But it's clean now. If only it would get warm enough to swim!

Oh yeah, and I guess that means he's poking around PTO Today, keeping an eye on me. Someone has to.....
