Ohio--love the story...Made me laugh out loud...
Ona--DOWN the hill...no one EVER yells "get the ball before it rolls up the hill"....
Time for the inevitable braces are here...10 year old...his teeth are not perfect and will be after these puppies. Debated with hubby and said "you know--he'll never say in 20 years--I hate it that my parents made my teeth look perfect". So here we go on the split payment ride...maybe they'll do these in mexico cheaper --

Tim - Gotta be blue and gold, baby! Are you going to be putting in the key, three point line, etc.?
We're gonna be doing the same thing this summer, big slab of concrete... we'll park the trailer on one end, and play hoops on the other. Out here in the so. cal desert, those dang weeds get everywhere... now I'll have less hula ho-ing to do when we cover up the dirt.
But like many have said, keep the kiddies in sight and close to home.
To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
Ohio, that is so funny. Glad to see you have a great sense of humor about the situation. I think I would have been tempted to ask my husband for a hand and then pulled him in too!
You know, there is a down side to having an office with a window: I can see how nice it is outside and I can hear the birds singing. Needless to say my enthusiam for work is dwindling quickly. I'm more in the "sitting in my cushy glider with a glass of iced tea" mode.
Ohio you made an already great morning even more fun! Thanks for the laughs! I guess you don't need to go to one of those fancy mud/clay spas ... just jump right in out back! Sometimes you just gotta get right in there and get a little dirty to have some fun ... what a great motto!
Spring is finally here also. Had a huge storm last night and it seems to have gotten rid of the rest of the snow piles around our house. Now we just need to get the temperature up and we'd be in business - a little to cold for grilling outside ... another month and we'll be in business.

that Brad Paisley song is hilarious. My hubby loves it LOL!!
Oh I am so glad we live out in the boonies! LAst night about 3:30 I noticed the house was alittle chilly so I thought I forgot to turn the heat back on--low and behold the tank was empty so outside I go to switch tanks--I volunteered to go out and do it cause hubby had to get up at 4:30 to go to work. So I am out there trying to get the nut loose with a wrench and hubby yells out try pulling it down so I do and giving it all I got and well I guess I put alittle too much in it because next thing I know the thing turns I loose my balance and down the hill I go right into a big old mud puddle. Of course I let out a yell while going down the hill which brings hubby running outside in his tighty whities. I try to stand up and my shoe is stuck so I pull it up and loose my balance again and land right back in the mud. Hubby is standing there laughing at me. Finally I get out of the mud and lets just say at 4 am I was wide awake after a long hot shower and then cleaning the mud out of the shower LOL!! I couldn't stop laughing while cleaning up LOL!! I was telling my boys about it this morning and my 7 yr old says mom go out and do it again and I will tape it and send it to country fried videos LOL!!
We had the concrete slab and the swimming pool growing up so our house was always the hang out. Add to that there was 10 of us kids ....so we were half the town anyways LOL!!
It's here! It's here! Spring is FINALLY here! Thanks for sending the warm sun LUV!
Would love a basketball slab, but there's a big decision for us to make at my house...do we put the basket at the top of the slope or the bottom - LOL! We live on a pretty good hill:eek:
Billy Currington...mmmm
