yep, i also noticed on other thread shawn has been named just 'one of us gals' but he is masculine enough to handle it, as he has said before. maybe he is really victor victoria victor. who knows. anyway, he keeps up educated in civil rights matters and margarita receipes, thats good enough to join 'my' gilrs group anytime. but then no, i dont 'do' cliques. LOL. cant tie in the corporal punishment theme. enoughs enough.

Hey Shawn - you go girl.... :D

d, Scotts, I'm LMAO, which is the best exercise I know. I just love, love, love the way you describe things d. I've rolled out of bed like that a few times myself. The Frankenstein walk the whole next day because you can't bend your legs at all is tons of fun too!

d-Every time I've ever gotten in shape, I started by watching Denise Austin. She is just to smiley and cheery and I find myself yelling at her and talking back until I get through it. At least then I have expressed all my negative energy towards exercise and can move on. Surpisingly, hers are the only workouts I can get into because I allow myself to vent to her. I can't tell a trainer I hate your guts because I was raised better than that, but I can definately tell it to my tv! :)

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

Wow Shawn that is cool...keep meaning to mention too how funny your post was with all the subliminal messages. Sometimes I feel like you guys must be talking away from these boards to each other all the time because of the things that come up here.
OMG--I did pilates yesterday...first it was hilarious...3 of us ladies in front of the big screen with some skinny little wench folding herself in two and putting her earlobes down behind her knee caps. Then she's s l o w l y rolling touching "each veterbre on her spine to the mat" and roll back up "in control-focused on the corps". Well let me just say the I looked like a weeble woobling out there in front of her. The dogs were coming over to lick our faces because they were worried we were passing out...and today...TODAY...well the only reason I'm out of bed is because I was able to "gently roll" myself and FLOP off the side of the bed "gently pushing" my feet down to the capret because I have ABSOLUTELY NO muscle control in my stomach area. All that was there (which was considerable) has turned into a red pulsing mass of pain.
Now I'm going to eat some special K crap and envision that "flowing, gentle, toned, bronzed" instructor being torn apart by a shark on the beautiful beach that was moving in the background. I feel better already!!!

Perfect evening - laundry's done, house is clean (relatively speaking), bills are paid, everyone else is in bed sound asleep and I have left over pizza and cold beer (coldbeer) in the fridge.
