Whatever you want, LUV, it's yours. I'm sorry, friend, that you've had such a terrible time. My sympathies to you for the loss of your dear friend. You must already miss him very much.
Perhaps, like me, your teacher has endometriosis or fybroids. An attack can be momentarily excruciating and frightening but after a few deep breaths and a minute to collect yourself, you can get back on track. You'll spend the rest of the day worrying about her but she's probably already fine and going about the rest of her day.
The world is still spinning here in Alabama so having your phone off and hubby having to take care of your daughter didn't realign the planets or anything. Clearly you were needed elsewhere.
I hope the rest of your day is brighter. If not, we'll all meet you for lunch at chili's for margaritas!

d, hope bingo went well. We have done bingo as part of our Family Fun Night for the last two years and people LOVE it. What is it about bingo that draws people in so easily?
I really just want to go home today and hide, we lost a great member of our church this weekend, a friend's husband died, and this morning I "collected" a teacher from the hallway who was having some kind of attack of pain in her lower abdomen. I got her into her classroom, but she refused to let me get the nurse or anyone else or arrange for her to go home. I found another teacher who I know is a friend and told her what had happened. Then to make it even better, as I'm heading to work I see my hubby headed home and he makes some gesture at me that says "come back home". Well, seems I had forgotten to turn on my cell phone(for one morning out of a million) before I left home and my daughter was frantically calling to get us to bring her something she forgot. It's now my fault of course. I didn't even tell him how my morning had gone so far, because I didn't think it would matter, so I just apologized and left. Sorry to babble on.
Any snickerdoodles left? I'll take a s'more too, and CC if you bring a doggie bag can you throw in some hush puppies for me?
Happy Monday, onaroll! Yippee for your little soccer queen. You must be very proud of her. Sounds like a great weekend.
s'mores?!?! You're killin' me, Smalls! ...I'll take two.....
I told my friend that the hydrangea and the mum are dying slow, painful deaths at my house and if she wants to save them she'd better come get them today and plant them in her yard. Sheesh. It hasn't even been a week yet... Oh, but I have a new favorite! The gardenia popped a new bud open yesterday. It was heavenly. I'm going to fill my new yard with them.
We're on the last-day-of-school countdown. Half days Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for finals and a full day for clean-up, lockers and report cards on Thursday. Then FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!

She shoots...SHE SCORES!!! Did I mention my little soccer queen (you know, the one who broke the basement windows with the ball when she missed the concrete and now keeps deflating the ball because she kicks against the fence in the yard) scored her first goal! She's sooo happy, still grinning ear to ear. She wore her cleats and shin guards where ever we went the rest of the weekend. Gotta love it!
Okay, I guess I've got to go to work now. Can't sit still, crazy weekend, sun's out today, going first of season camping this weekend. Countdown to Friday has begun...
