We used to do floats at Open House in the fall. I remember lots of melted ice cream and one year the grocery store delivered our pop to us and it must have gotten rather shaken up during the transport....needless to say after a couple volcanic eruptions of root beer we took the bottles outside to open them!
CC, thanks for the kind words. I guess they do listen to us sometimes even if we don't think they are.
Did I mention the snow we got a few months ago??? Yeh, well, today is the turnaround! 88 degrees, humid, AND, the PTO ice cream social is today.
I can see it melting down the chins!! One of my favorite sights:p
Any orders? Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry...sprinkles, topping. Now serving #1...
Tomorrow it's off to the long-awaited long weekend. I'm a bit jealous of all of you that are done or close to it. Our kids have until June 21st...aaagggh

The kids didn't even hestitate about wanting to go to the visitation. The smile on her face when she saw them was great. My son let her just hug him forever(and even kiss his cheek a dozen times) and offered to play golf with her anytime this summer when she mentioned it. Sometimes your kids just make you proud.
We're all ready for summer break. Only 3 more days of school!
Once it's done you're going to love love love it so hang in there. It's worth the hassle. Today some friends are coming over to swim. They're bringing hotdogs (with all the fixins) for the grill. d, you have tons of days like that to look forward to!
I'm officially at the "no more cooking until after we move and unpack" phase of the relocation process. Hubby hates it but I am not going to buy any more groceries. He says, "Pretend we're on vacation and buy groceries like we do for two weeks at the cabin." Uh.... No.
