MOMMAE,

I have a poem you can use if you just give me your e-mail address.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

We will hold our 3rd BooHoo/Yahoo Breakfast this year. Here is a portion of our flyer.... Whether they’re tears of sorrow (your baby is starting school) or tears of joy (now I know why my Mom was so happy when school started) you’re sure to find someone who can relate at the OLF BooHoo/Yahoo Breakfast.....
the teachers love it because it gives new parents somewhere to go right when the bell rings, so they don't hang around in the classroom. Good Luck

mum24kids,
We usually have about 140 new kindergarteners we have 8 clasees with anywheres from 18-21 per class. Last year we had approx 50 parents come. We try to have the whole PTA board there to meet, have our Volunteer Sign Up Sheets out, sell our spirit shirts ,of course have membership cards available. The principle also comes in to welcome the parents and if the counselor is free we have her come in and talk about making the transitition to beginning school easy for their child. We start right after school takes in,8:45, and go to about 10:00 (we have to be out of the cafeteria by 10:30.) I expectpect alot more this year because I helped a registration and told parents about it then, and also sent home flyers when the students came to meet the teachers (our kindergarten starts a week later then the rest of the school.) We usually have juice, coffee, donuts muffins etc. Good Luck with yours!

Our first one is coming up on September 7. For those of you who have done one before--we expect to open up with 80 kindergarteners. So about how many people should we expect to show up for the BH breakfast, based on your experience?
