It seems so fast they come and go
We work so hard to help them grow!
And now here comes the hardest part
Releasing a little piece of your heart.

Like rain on the flowers; the tears may flow
All the work that you've done to help them grow!
So reflect for a minute that this is your goal
Making them strong so they can go...

To begin their own journey oh the places they'll see
Coming home with their stories, their minds running free
Letting go while it's hard is the right thing to do
Share their journey in life--it's their gift to you.

this is a poem I used this year.

We're giving you a "Kiss" out here
As we go start our Kindie year
We're going in to make new friends
we'll see you when our first day ends!

I took a small ziplock snack bag and put in 3-5 hersheys kisses and attached the poem with a staple.

I was up at school and noticed a flyer ready to go out to the kindergarten parents and it said" Say Goodbye and Let Em Fly! " and I thought that was really cute, Our mascot is the Eagles so it fit perfectly!

Our school did a Boo Hoo Breakfast last year and felt it was very successful. However, we have lost the poem that we gave out with the tissues and Hershey's kisses. Does anyone have that poem?

Hi. I am interested in a flyer as well as the poem. We are doing this at our school for the first time and not sure where to start.
