My children are starting in a new school and I have been asked to be the head classroom mom. My first meeting takes place next week 9/13 and am finding myself in a bind. I'm very excited to be helping out as much as I can but am both a bit nervous and need some tips on how to best motivate parents to volunteer. I have read some of what this site has to offer and know that I am in the right place for help.
I'm also trying to solicit some advice as to how to hold my first meeting whereby I'll being looking for parents to help out throughout the year.
