Hi - yes I did them all online and waited for a reply. If I recall they used an automated system. I would need to check my emails to see who the contacts were. I do recall waiting 1-2 months so it sounds like your timeline is good. I recall also a couple of them you can log back in their systems and see if request was approved yet, so I would do that every week or two.

For the sports teams did you go online and fill out a form? May I ask who your contacts were, those would be great items for our Auction in Sept! I haven't heard back form any sports teams and I did the request in July...

Thank you!

Hi -
I am in Tucson and am new to fundraising but have been active since last year. I am in Tucson but wanted to let what we have received through donation requests in your area thus far:

Arizona Cardinals - sent us a signed football
Phoenix Suns - Goody bag
Arizona Diamondbacks - 4 Reserve Line Baseball Tickets
Arizona Coyotes- signed photograph
Wet -n - Wild - 2 passes
Amazing Jake's - $25.00 gift card

We just recently (this past month) got the Phoenix Symphony, the Phoenix Botanical Gardens, and Inventure Foods (Poore Borthers Chips).

All of this was (except Amazing Jake's) through online requests. You might also try Total Wine as I got that last year and they have Phoenix locations for wine tasting. Don't forget to try Disneyland if you qualify as Arizona is one of their areas. Also, I found success last year with Harkins, Red Box, Whole Foods, Jason's Deli, Safeway, Walmart, Chili's, Oakley's, and a few more local ones.

I have not yet had success with hotels but have applied to a few in the Phx area. I am trying to make a Phx package from Tucson so if you have success with a Phoenix hotel can you let me know what you discover?

I would like ot express my thanks to this board for all of their information. I have found it most helpful.

I am so grateful to all of you who have been adding information to this board for the past few years. I've spent hours upon hours combing thru each page and copying and pasting all the links that apply to my area. I'm thrilled you are willing to share your information, and understand if I want that information I'll need to put in a little work - not expect you to email a copy of your list to me. As far as requesting donations go, I do not expect anything and I'm always thrilled when something arrives in the mail. These companies do not have to give anything away. We are all lucky that they do. So thanks to them, and thanks to all of you who have shared your tips.
