Our golf outing liked Dixon Golf as they offered vacations and great prizes. But I understand what you are saying.

JAMOM74 - Did you golfers like the Par3 challenge? Dixon called me on Friday and offered it up.....I'm not sure though.....It seems like we charge them extra for mulligans and raffle tix and the like, then to add an outside company who wants more money? I'm not sure, and we all ready have a hole in one sponsor for a new car from a car dealership....I don't want our golfers to feel nickel & dimed!

Regarding the Golf donations: we wrote to Arnold Palmer and he sent an autographed book- also we tried local golf courses, not for tee passes , but for just some of their hats, shirts, etc.. publicity for them- makes a nice basket idea.

Rita V., thanks for the reply re: Atlantis. I think I applied 5 weeks ago, maybe they aren't giving them to "local" events?

Dixon Golf came to our golf outing last year and did par3 sponsorship. This year they reached out to us and they want to do a sponsorship for par5. They were looking for golf outings throughout the US so give them a try.

maybe a golf store will donate sets of golfballs? What about people (pros) who give golf lessons - perhaps you could get them to donate a lesson or a parent-child lesson?
