Did any of you get an error message after submitting the American Girl online form? It keeps redirecting me once I submit and telling me it only takes attachments in the form of jpg, gif, or pdf.
My 501c3 is a pdf so I'm confused.

Thanks for the help.

Fundraiser Mom - I do most of the soliciting for our group by email. For other parents, I either "assign" them local businesses they have a connection with as a customer, employee, etc. or I give them follow-up calls to make to local businesses that haven't responded to the emails. Usually I pick follow-up business that I think are especially likely to give, have given in the past, or I think would be really cool items. This way, anything that comes in from the parents' follow up calls is "extra" and the calls can be slipped in to busy schedules. Also, I only give them about 5 calls to make at a time unless it's someone I know is very reliable and committed. Often, knowing I've already sent an email to the business helps the parents feel like this is a little less of a "cold call" if they are nervous about asking. I like this process because I feel it sets volunteers up for success which motivates them to help more.

I always try to email first, or fax, and then mail. I tried the in person thing and got nowhere.

It is hard to get help with anything.

Mail mail mail -- it gets to the right person just about very time.

Your lucky if the owner is there when running around and some low level employee gets it to them.

Just got done getting over 100 donations at my school.
