Received a donation from NY Skyrides. Emailed me back and said to print out the email as confirmation for 2 tickets valued at $84. Has anyone received this for your auction and is it legit?
I see a lot of people on here talking about the Premier Cancun vacation certificate. We received that as well for our raffle drawings and I am very skeptical about using it. A co-worker of mine called the phone number and asked a ton of questions. The lady on the phone was super nice and was able to answer all of her questions. The lady said that they give away quite a few certificates every year and that those who do redeem them seem to have positive feedback. You do have to book the trip at least 90 days before you intend to travel and we were told you don't have to attend any presentations if you don't want. I got onto their Facebook page and tried to contact a few of the people on there that said they had used the certificates, but no one has responded yet. Hopefully its all true and doesn't turn out to be a hoax!
Excited that my American Girl doll arrived. I didn't get any correspondence via email that it was approved so I was so surprised when the box turned up at school!
Who did you contact at Manduka? We have had a lot of Yoga classes donated and a Yoga Birthday party donated. That would make a nice combined auction item to have accessories. Thank you! Lauren
We put our gift cards into picture frames, and print out a "sign" on card stock stating what the gift card is that is contained within the picture frame. The gift card is "hidden" behind the actual sign though so you don't actually see it, and this makes it quick and easy to distribute to the winner, and it's a bonus because the winner of the gift card gets to keep the picture frame too! For instance, the sign would say "McDonald's $25 Gift Card" and we print a logo of McDonald's and a cute border incorporating our theme. We have gotten lots of positive feedback that everyone thinks this is a great way of doing the gift cards. Hope this idea helps!
