I am part of a 501c3 organization in Northern NJ. We are a group that offers free support and services to cancer patients. This is our first year doing this type of fundraiser. I am so glad that I found this page! If anyone has an suggestions for my area particularly that would be great. I am doing this pretty much on my own and our budget is like non existent. I just wanted to give everyone a suggestion that works for me.
We have a local restaurant that carries all those fliers for tourist that tell what to do in the area. Every year I go and pick up a copy of EVERY one of them and then start hitting the internet. I use the website listed... Go to the contacts and email... if the company has a specific form they want you to use they will usually email you back with the link but most just accept the email.
Because you are requesting from an area you are from you have a better chance of getting tickets to attractions.

Does anyone know the best way to contact Tim Allen for a donation? We are located in the town where he went to college in Michigan and I know he donates to many Michigan organizations.
