Does anyone have any ideas for Illinois? Like the Chicago area? I have done dinners/silent auctions in the past and have gotten decent responses but mostly no's. I am in the planning stages of my next silent auction and am looking to make major improvements seeing as the last one I held was not very well attended due to the extreme flooding we had in the area 3 days before the event. Also can anyone help me with finding a donation request letter and donation thank you letter?

This is what I got back from coach. I sent my request in November and received this in April.
Thank you for inviting COACH to support your organization. Regretfully, we must decline your request at this time. As you can imagine, the number of requests we receive to support worthy projects grows substantially each year, and we are unable to fulfill them all. But it's worth a try and I will try again next year who knows maybe ill get lucky.

However, in looking at the fine print on my reply from Coach I see - "we have to limit types of organizations we can support and request we can satisfy to organizations that help the homeless and those which research and support certain health care initiatives"

Here's a question from Dolly that was originally posted on Ask A Question:
I have not applied to American Girl Doll because I can not truthfully say that our group helps mainly gils age 2 to 121 - however, we have helped families with rent, utilities, shoes for children at local elememtary school, and have also paid funeral expenses for two young girls in the past - can help with their experience in applying for this one?
