we are a group of senior citizens who started having an annual bazaar 26 years ago. Our first bazaar was to raise funds to print a church cookbook. We raised more than enough to fund the cookbook and enjoyed the first bazaar so much we voted to do it again the following year. It has evolved from a country breakfast/craft/bake sale to a bake sale/craft sale/silent auction. WE realized a profit of $6,000 last year from our silent auction. The market for country crafts has dried up. We will conitnue with the country breakfast/bake sale and will have few crafts which we've made. The main emphasis is on silent auction this year> We started early and things have come in pretty swell. We will "go local" now and hit grocery stores/restaurants/entertainment. Has anyone had any experience with Sample Guy Inc? I signed up on their website to receive things for goody bags for our golf outing. We just pay shipping. I got an email with the things that they could send me and they asked for my cc info through email. I don't really feel comfortable doing this. Any body ever use them with success??
