Went in to drop off donation request at Best Buy. The manager said that he would try to add our event to their schedule, which means that employees come and help set up or work the event and it comes with a check for $1000, instead of just a donation. Didn't know that program existed! Hoping it works out. Thought I'd share in case you can request that option too.
Our auction was on Feb. 11. I applied to Panera Bread in Oct., heard from them in January, and received the certificate the day before the auction. They cut things really close!
Michigan here. I have a donation of a "25% off a 2 man hunt in Idaho". I have no idea what to do with it! Should I put hunting stuff with it or should I put by itself? I've put in requests to the airlines so maybe I could put it with it. I'm lost...I want to call them and ask for buy 1 hunt get 1free but I think that would sound very greedy. I am Thankful that they donated!! I'm not sure if this would sell? Help!!!!
Carrie - I submitted last November and just heard back last week. Our event is 2 weeks away, so perhaps they review requests as they approach the event date. Good luck!
Can anyone please tell me how long it took for you to hear back from panera bread? I submitted my proposal almost a month ago and it's still under consideration.
