FletcherMomma,

At our auctions this spring, we've sold different breeds of puppies at five school and nonprofit events. They bring $2k to $5k in our markets.

The Humane Society doesn't agree with the sale of animals at auction. And as a warning, you're sure to raise the tempers of some parents, too.

But I believe that if you do the marketing properly, you'll find the animal a great home and you'll raise significant money.

I have numerous posts and video trainings on selling puppies in auctions on my website. I am not sure the links will transmit through here, but I'll try. (I think it depends on whether you receive these updates via HTML or text...)

If the links do NOT show up, do a Google search on "Red Apple Auctions" and the word puppy. The content will be found.

This is probably in the wrong forum, but has anyone ever had someone in your community donate a puppy to be auctioned off? Do you know what the legalities would be as far as the auction/adoption goes?

Plum District (group buying website like Groupon)

We received two reusable shopping bags with $30 Plum Credit each ($60 total). Plum Credit are dollars you can use on their website to buy deals.

Hi,

I need ideas for our upcoming auction. I am in Washington State and would like info on national companies that will donate.

I also have a couple of tips for all of you. If you have a Microsoft Store in your neighborhood contact the local manager regarding their next promotion. If you bring in a group of youth they will give you an Xbox or a game pack for your event.

If you have an Old Country Buffet in your area take the time to walk in with a letter and present it to the manager. In most cases they will give you a certificate for dinner for 4 at their restaurant.

Thanks for the help.
