Hi Jerelyn,
The Brighton Basket was secured by a parent who was the neighbor of a Brighton employee. The Lucky brand purse was purchased by a parent and never used, so she donated it to the auction.
We have been requesting parents to search their closets and garages for new, unused items that they have that they are not using and donate them to the auction. We even suggest that they re-gift to us! We receive a lot of items this way. Many are not included on my list but are things like top-shelf alcohol, wine, wine glasses, cloth napkins, jewelry, purses, stationary, books, cookbooks, kitchen utensils, gourmet basket items, wine accessories, candles, bath and beauty items, garden items, electronics, school supplies, blankets, etc.
We also encourage people to give us their contacts. We rely heavily on net-working to build our donor list.
Hope this helps!
