I am the co-founder and president of TenMarks Education. I saw that there were a few questions from people that wanted to make sure that our offer to PTO's of a 1 year subscription to TenMarks was real. I would like to assure you that the offer is real, as one of the posters mentioned we are doing this as a way to help create awareness for TenMarks.
The process for fulfillment of the subscription is very straight forward. Once we are notified of a winner, we will contact that person by email to ask them what grade level they would like the account to be set-up for and the first name of the child that will be using the account and in 24-48 hours of us receiving that information the account will be set up. The winner does not need to give use a credit card number. While we would love it if they would extend their subscription after it expires, sign up another child or tell friends about TenMarks they will never be billed for anything unless they ask us to.

I filled out the form and faxed it, but didn't receive a response back. I sent a "touching base" email to Chenai and received a STUNNING Black, Freshwater Pearl necklace for our auction. I was speechless!

Canvas on Demand
You fill out a form on their website and if you qualify they will send you a certificate for a custom 11 X 14 wrap canvas (winner will send in their photo and receive a beautiful wrapped canvas of their photo). With the certificate they send a beautiful sample canvas that you can display at the auction. $100 value.
Regarding TenMarks, I poked around online and it looks like they are being generous with donations right now to get exposure for their company. They ran a big campaign of 6 mo free trials to home school parents - no one had anything bad to say about them in the blogs. I am not too worried about it because even if the winners need to give a credit card with the trial, they can always dispute charges if they decide not to continue after the one year free. The company seems legit.

Waiting for these donations to come in is like waiting for Christmas. I'll be glad when our auction date arrives!
From Pearl Paradise, I received a lovely smoked pearl necklace valued at $400 in a nice case with certificate of authenticity. It came almost to the day of our event and we hadn't been notified of its coming--I think it was about 2 months from the time I sent the request.
I have couple of items we will not be using and would like to trade if anyone is interested. We are located on the jersey shore (ocean county) and our auction is in early march so the trade would have to happen soon.
