Regarding some other request that have been mentioned previously in these posts, I mailed a letter back in early November to Wheel of Fortune 10202 West Washington Blvd Culver City, CA 90232-3195 and on Feb 22 they sent the following:
-black and red canvass bag with logo
-key chain with circular 'wheel'
-ball point pen
-t-shirt
-signed photo of Vanna White and Pat Sajack
-ball cap w/logo
-cardboard "$1,000" pie slice signed by Vanna White and Pat Sajack
-invitiation for "4 VIP passes" to see a taping of "Wheel Of Fortune"
What a real stand up group these folks are! A neat gift for anyone who is a fan!
Also "Your True Nature" who I knew nothing about until PTO Today message boards, I emailed back in Nov. and they do not return email but sent a Priority Mail package this week to our school with handouts, writing notes, a bookmark - and even my husband who is not a 'green' person said it was worthy of standing on its own as a silent auction item.
Also, Dogswell - I sent them an email in Nov. and they only responded last week that they would be mailing a gift basket the week of 3/11 - literally, the week before our event.

-Ms. Jan Brett - email or mail PO Box 366, Norwell, MA 02061 - sent a signed poster
-PinkCalyx- send SASE to 2301 Cherry St. 4Q, Phila, PA 19103 - got $50 gift cert.
-General Mills, Inc PO Box 9452 Minneapolis, MN 55440 - sent donor letter via mail and received about $72 in coupons all for free products
-Trader Joes' - must go into local store and fill out their form and give them a copy of your organizations' 501c form showing proof of non-profit status
-Oriental Trading Co - PO Box 2308 Omaha, NE 68103-2308 sent donor letter via US mail in Nov. received a $50 gift cert in late January
-Bed Bath & Beyond - gave donor letter to local manager, have yet to hear back
-send letter to a local politician - we sent one to DE auditor of accounts and got a beautiful, framed Delaware's Ratification of the US Constitution
-Simeone Museum - a great 'man item' - 27 of the world's most elite and unique cars - 4 tickets - 6825-31 Norwitch Drive, Philadelphia, PA 19153. Men will eat this up! Esp. if they love unique sports cars. Owner was a brain surgeon who bought a lot of high-end one or two made cars - Jay Leno admires and has made offers on some of these cars. Great for the car enthusiast!

Panera Bread - go to their website - they have a special form that you fax for bread for a year - obviously, you need to have a Panera nearby- they approved my request via fax the day that I faxed it and I had the letter and bread for a year card 2 days later

-The Franklin Institute - 222 North 20th St. Phila, PA 19103 - they enter all donation requests into a lottery - our school is in the 3/5 lottery - I kind of like that - they are trying to be fair to everyone.
-Macaroni Grille - local chef/owner? has final say - I walked in with donor letter - not sure if I'll hear back or not
-Build a Bear - we sent a letter but going forward, you must go to their website and fill out a form - I think it's 8 weeks prior notice as well. We did receive $10 cub bucks - luckily our mail request was in plenty of time
-NJ State Aquarium Adventure Aquarium 1 Aquarium Drive, Camden, NJ 08103 - they gave us 2 or 4 passes. Sent in Nov. received in late Jan.
-Gymboree Corp Attn: Ms. Stacey Rubin 500 Howard St. San Fransisco, CA 94105. Sent early Nov. received in late Jan - $20 gift card for Gymboree clothing stores/online
-Please Touch Museum - Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park 4231 Avenue of the Republic Phila, PA 19131 - 4 passes
-Crayola Factory 30 Centre Square, Easton, PA 18042 - send at least 8 weeks in advance - we were not 'picked' this year even though we sent our request in early Nov. I think the younger kids' organizations might get priority. Just a guess.
-K'Nex Industries PO Box 700 Hatfield, PA 19440 - last year they mailed an amazing roller coaster K'Nex - and it came a few weeks prior to our event, this year we are 2 1/2 weeks out and I'm still waiting to hear....
-Dutch Wonderland - Attn: Donation Committee 2249 Lincoln Hwy East, Lancaster, PA 17602 - sent 2 passes. Must send via US mail to this address. Must send I believe 8 weeks prior to event.
-NO from Hershey Park
-No from Toppers Salon
-No from Ben & Jerry's - very kind - sent an email no and a follow up letter.
-no from Ulta
-no from wikkistix - I think they are inundated
-no from Baltimore Orioles - we are in Wilmington, DE - too far out of their
'area' for donations.
-no from Bodum - too inundated (just prior to Christmas - I have a hunch to try back just to see if it works at different times of the year....)
-Charisma Brands/Marie Osmond Dolls - they are focusing their donations to specific companies/charities
-No from I Can Do That Games - inundated
-no from Strasburg RR - they are only donating to Lancaster, PA area which I thought was funny - if you live there, haven't you already seen it?????!!!!
-I'm still waiting to hear from Great Adventure - Six Flags Great Adventure Attn: Donation Committee, PO Box 120 Rt. 537 Jackson, NJ 08527 and Knoebels Amusement Resort, Attn: Community Relations PO Box 317 Elysburg, PA 17824
-Highlights magazine sent free subscriptions for 2 people with 12 awesome different magazines - from their puzzles and math stuff - so we'll split them into 2 equal silent auction items. Mail them at : Highlights Magazine 1800 Watermark Drive PO Box 269 Columbus, OH 43216-0269. They just send the donation - no advance notice - comes in a corrugated cardboard box about 8 weeks later. I read on these boards that someone faxed them - I think that's an even quicker way to go, sorry I don't have the fax #.
-Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania - sent several tickets - PO Box 15, Strasburg, PA 17579
-Pro Football Hall of Fame 2121 George Halas Drive NW Canton, OH 44708 - sent 2 tickets to their Hall of Fame - they request to be 'anonymous' in any mentions.
I hope this list helps many people. It's the least I can do after watching these boards since early November of 2010 and having amazing luck with all of the leads that others have given.
