Unfortunately, many donors will make it a requirement that you provide your 501(c)3 number, even if you qualify for donations without one. It's a filter they use to help winnow down requests.
Thank you for pointing that out. I had read the instructions well I thought but apparently not well enough. We dont qualify then, but I guess I'll wait for them to come back and tell me that Thanks!
I am at a public school and neither the school or PTO have a 501 c-3 number. they have other letters that state they are not required to have one. How can I still get donations that require one. Does anyone else have this problem.
Sorry should have specified, I run auctions for 2 different schools. one is my daughters grade school and the other is my son's daycare/preschool. So I have 2 completely different names, numbers and addresses..
Just a thought, maybe you could do Kings Island for one and Cedar Point for the other..
