Does anyone have contact information for Ticket Liquidators? Also I emailed Kings Island about a week and a half ago does anyone know how long they take to review request?

I've been a participant on this thread for what seems like forever ... :)

one thing I can't seem to get a handle on is author donations. any advice on that? do letters work better than email requests? do you go through the publisher?

Thanks!

Thank you to everyone for all the great ideas. Our elementary school holds a dinner/auction every two years, and our committee has always relied on local businesses and parents for donations. This is our first year doing on-line requests, and this site has been a huge help. Here are our yes's:

Jan Brett - signed poster
Mo Willems - signed posters
Janet Evanovich - signed book
Disney - 4 park hopper passes
Keurig - coffee machine and k cups
Chipotle - gift certificates
American Girl - doll
Kohler - free night stay with purchase of $500 gift card
Cabot - cheese basket
Otterbox - certificate for case
Stampin Up - $300 of product
Top of the Rock - 2 passes
Skyride - 2 tickets
Guayaki Tea - 6 boxes of tea
Pink Calyx - $50 gift card
Gourmet Gift Basket - $20 gift card

We sent requests starting last October, and are still receiving items now. Our event is March 3.

Replied by rm9116 on topic Re: airline donations
Southwest - we received because our school was hit by a tornado and they donate for disaster-relief related expenses. I don't think we'll ever get them again. You do have the right website - we just qualified in a unique (and frankly awful) way.

Air Tran - we haven't received these ever, and I doubt we get them this year either even though we applied. I do know that schools can and do get these. Requests go through sponsorport, if I remember correctly.

Don't know about American Airlines - I remember looking at this last year and seeing that there was no way we would ever qualify.
