The Great Wolf in our area (Grand Mound, WA) requires us to buy a gift card for $275, then they donate a voucher for a room for a night for a family of 4, but it is subject to blackout dates...no holidays and every Saturday is blacked out! So it is two nights, but hard to use, We'd be better off buy9ing a one stay that they could use whenever they want! One night was enough for me and my family...lol! You have to send an e-amil to to the one closest to you and they will e-mail you the policy - I believe they are all diiferent. Good luck!

I think the idea of seeking local trip donations is the way to go. We decided to purchase one night stay at Great Wolf Lodge www.greatwolfl.com (in PA...an hour from our NJ location) and Great Wolf is donating a night. So we have a 2-night stay at Great Wolf as a Grand Prize and it does not require airfare. I like the idea of giving the winners some cash or a gift certificate to pay for their food as well, so it's an "all-inclusive" deal.
We also received the Elite donation, 3 different certificates to 3 different resorts. We will not pay for their food or airfare...so although each trip is worth over $3,000...it's more like a "coupon"...buy a 7-day meal plan, get 7-nights lodging free. Ya know? So not so comfortable offering it as a "Grand" prize b/c winner is REQUIRED to purchase meal plan ($125 per person, per day!)...I'm OK with the fact that they need to buy their own airfare. Perhaps they have free airline miles they could use.
