I got a no from Cabot too and never received a response from Ticket Liquidators, it has been about 2 mo.

Also, to an earlier poster, Green Mtn Roasters would not recognize our tax id but we have had no problems with using it for other submissions inc. Disney.

I just submitted to Cabot Creamery and got a no, after seeing so many yes's I wonder if there is something I did wrong?..... I have a question does anyone know how long it takes to hear back from ticket liquidators? How did you submit to them?

well, that's frustrating. although, I can't say that it surprises me, though.

we have the letter, which will suffice for most of the places I'm contacting. I didn't even think we'd have that by now, so I'm thankful for that.

If you were just approved a week ago - you are probably not in the IRS charitable organization database. Several companies I have applied to use that to validate the EIN # as a non-profit. Sounds like this is the case.

I'm sorry to say - it takes about 3 to 4 months to get on this database. And sometimes then it is a problem. We had been a 501(c)3 for about a year and we still were not listed. It took a phone call to the IRS to get us on the list. You could try to call the IRS - but they usually tell you that they won't help until it has been a few months.

it's the xx-xxxxxxx number, right? Employer Identification Number?

we were approved a week ago by the IRS, so it should be in the system. Weird. I'll try later & see what happens.
