Thank you to all of the men and women who have served and are serving our country, making sacrificies and today possible for us to enjoy.

D- I haven't fallen off the PTO bandwagon, matter of fact it is just the opposite. School's out and I'm still going strong. ( website, getting new playground installed, president 3rd year running...etc). I did switch jobs back in October - best move of my life - love it! It's just a little further to drive and I get home later. Between the boys ( I have been on the birthday party rollercoaster too - two back to back then the friends - we had 50 people in the pool last weekend...agh IT'S OVER!) and work and hubby and cleaning it's about all I can do to check email weekly much less get on here. But I am trying! I need to learn MORE time mgmt for myself.
Happy Fourth 2 Everyone!

You know I always find early summertime difficult in restaurants because the summer help is just coming in and getting in the groove. But it is too expensive to go out now and not get good service.
Silver--I know what you mean--when the pressure is on to shop it can be hard to commit. I'm out of money now so there is no pressure but when I was decorating the house I had to take breaks cause it was too much.
I suspect CC is working hard and still looking for her board . Happy Sunday everyone...

Ummmm, Silver, can you have your hubby call my hubby? I think I would faint if hubby said to go shopping. i'd be out hte door before he even finished the sentence.
Went out to eat tonight--terrible service. I totally admire people who can be waitresses and waiters, but if they aren't into it, then they need a new job. Ours brought 2 of 4 meals out, then went to another table, then brought drinks out for another table, THEN brought remaining 2 meals out. YIKES. hubby will call a manager in a heartbeat, but I hate that! I didn't want to hurt her feelings or have her mad at me. Don't know why. I ended up writing it on the comment card.
Is CC ever coming back? I'm beginning to think she was abducted by aliens.
We made it to the weekend ~ YEAH! I picked up "I feel bad about my neck" yesterday. This is the writer/director of Silkwood and When harry met Sally etc. I finished the book in a few hours. Quirky book. Basically women worry too much about aging and what others think of them. Tell us something we didn't already know right?! At least the book had it's chuckle moments becasue we have all gone through one or more of the phases.
Had an interresting conversation with my hubby yesterday. Basically he stated we have too many bare walls around the house and I was to go out and purchase pictures and decor. I thought ~ hey you are telling me to go shopping ... this I can do right. Well 3 hours later all I come back with are some large hurricane lamps and candles. It never fails ... you are all set to shop and you get out only to doubt your selections when and if you can find something you even remotely like. Well at least I know that any time I see something from now on purchase away.
