You know its bad (between the 103 heat, the tummy issues and general boardom) when the kids look at you and say "I wish I was back in school" :eek: ! I swear those words have been uttered more than a couple of times in the last 2 weeks!!! The sad part, I'm having the same thoughts - stick a fork in me - I'M DONE! I'm ready to go back to the craziness and hecticness of the 3 of us being in school.
Ok, here is my mock "iced latte" (like a starbuckes one)
you need: cold coffee (end of the day is the best. tends to be stronger), sugar free flavored syrup (can get in the grocery store in the coffee isle) and milk ( to keep the calories down I use fat free).
-put about 1-2 tablespoons of flavoring in a tall cup.
-Add about 1/2 cup of cold coffee, then add milk to desired strength of drink (I like about 3/4 cup of milk).
Again, this is all based on your taste buds - you might want more milk, or less coffee. Play with it - I promise you its worth it!
