There's nothing like a six year old overhearing the news and saying, "Mom, what's sex?" And the answer, "Well, it means whether you're a boy or a girl. Sex is the same as gender." does not fly. We stopped running the news when Shorty was around!
Right now kitty #5 is on a catnip induced high so we're talking about drugs. And, that no, the peaceful, dreamy look on Mickey's face does not mean drugs are good.

HAHAHAHa monica--when i first heard about her...and being a bit "liberal" in my thoughts--I said to myself "that poor girl...taken such advantage of and so young...he's a role model and should never have done that sort of thing"...
Then I read that she'd "done" her high school teacher and when she left for DC bragged that she was "going to get her presidential knee pads" and I said to myself...
"OH--SHE A HO....I didn't know she was a HO....
JHB ~ that's the most unique way I've ever been told I talk too much!!!
Anyone who knows me who might be reading this right now is just nodding and smiling...
No simulator babies here but Shorty and I have definitely had lots of talks. I blame Bill Clinton and the ridiculous amount of Monica news coverage for opening up that topic around my house.

I think there was a Hannah Montana episode with that!!
Even without the crying and such, it is still a good lesson in child care responsibility. Those simulators are EXPENSIVE! $600-$700 for the baby and its supplies.
On the fake babies - our schools do that too, in theory. But we don't have the simulators. Our kids (girls and boys) use a sack of flour. They dress them up and have baby blankets and toys and whatever. So, unfortunately, they don't have the automated crying. But they keep a log, and do lots of carrying and finding babysitters when they have an activity. It's interesting to watch.
Hello all! Hope your day is going well. FYI - on the index of threads, have you ever noticed on the far left where it lists the number of replies, that's a link? I guess I never clicked on it before. Anyway, it lists WHO has replied to a given thread and how many times.
CrewChief - for Page2, you are definitely in the lead!!
