Metzy, I just need honestly how much work is this shop going to be. What am I looking at for number of volunteers etc. Sh t the way the school's admin is right now, I'm nt to worried that we can even do one this year! I mean it's September! Who in the can get a contract, space, date and volunteers before Nov/Dec! One mom honestly thought I was just being "silly" when I expressed the concern about time. Also the thread about Santa Shops has me concerned as not too many had anythign good to say about the company we could actually go with. Mainly stating junky merchandise. Not good. We do have a modest amount of Free Lunch kids but we also have so very wealthy families and not that I want to please both (I know better) but I don't want to sell junk.

Pour me one before I kill someone....We have to put a cap on the amount of donations we are asking for because someone will get burned out. This is what one of out members is going around saying. i'm ready to kill!!!! Excuse me, Last time I looked, the only person getting donations for the festival was me!!! She is not on the comittee, has not volunteered to do anything towards the festival and did nothing but b**&ch last year about everything(ex, did not want the 5lb chocolate bar to be grand prize for lollipop tree booth she pitched a fit--I won) Do you guys put a limit on donations? To me, it's crazy!!!! I love getting donations and when I get tried I will stop!! How about a slice of cake, that's my favorite. Oh, by the way, the hurricane missed us this time too..lots of praying. thanks for letting me hide in the back booth.

We could establish our own private school with healthy lunches and no fluorescent lighting! We could give all applicant parents a test for their level of organization, positive attitude, and anal retentiveness.

Here's a fresh plate of steaks hot off the grill...(luv heads back to kitchen to return with a large cake carrier)and here is the chocolate cake.(Imagine a three layer devil's food cake with fluffy egg white frosting done up in little curls and melted dark chocolate drizzling down the sides). Anybody ready for dessert? I'll serve up then I have to head home and concentrate for the next few days on my Saturday garage sale.
