(trumps sounding...) Sears Grand is opening on Thursday and it's 15 minutes from my casa!! NOW if Ty Pennington was making an apperance I could be the happiest girl! THis store is huge! I'm talking Wal-Mart Super Douper Center huge!

Okay boys...take it easy on the sports stuff, but did you see that hair brain play during the 8th inning of the Soxs and Angels? The Soxs were up and it was a base hit to first, the pitcher thought he caught it and ran after the player but tagged him with his glove with the ball in the other hand! OMG! I thought I was going to die! He was called safe (duh) and the pitcher was...."upset" ;) and ejected! The Soxs took over the last inning and won but I have never seen anything so stupid!

Okay gentlemen, to your corners. Since we are Illini fans at our house, we haven't had much college football to cheer about. We've had to rely on my 10yr old son's team's 5-1 season to give us a positive football experience. I think they could have beaten the Illini. We need basketball season to start up-then again that's not looking so good either.

I guess my first vision of Nerf ball was the soft foamy ones, but I do have a bad memory of being hit in the back of the head with a Nerf football that my son threw. He was young and a poor aim-I think....

As for shopping Shawn, it's all in finding the right store. My husband for example loses all sense of time in a Home Depot or home electronics store. I have the pneumatic nailer and hardwood floor to prove it.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

PS. For some reason NERF and SOFT have been innertwined, yes they are softer than regular football, baseball, softball. BUT they ARENT SOFT, have seen and rcvd (occasionally) many a jammed, broken, mangled digits and noses from 'Em.

I have no idea. But he thinks it's cool because he has been released from doing dishes until it's better.
I broke my finger playing volleyball when I was 8 so I understand how stuff like that happens.
You guys are in for a treat. I have made homemade hot chocolate with marshmallows since it's cooling off here.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
