Snow & cold here. Already had 2 snow days this week so thankful for school today.
Just got done getting to know my local car mechanic for 2.5 hours today. It wouldn't have been so bad if this wasn't the 2nd time in a month I have had the opportunity to visit him and his crew for such a long stretch of time as well as make such a large 'donation' to their cause. I figure all I have left is replacing the car seats and I should have a new car again. There is only so many oil, gas and grease fumes one can take a month. Sorry CC.

No snow here and the boys are just SICK of it!!!! Man - I just watched that new show Eli Stone on computer stream and it was terrific. Could be on at 8 oclock kind of family show. I suspect with the strike they're just putting new stuff in whereever they can. It's worth a look though...

Woooooo, lookin' good Tim!!! I like it.

Life is great around here. It's freezing, freezing, and more freezing but at least it isn't snowing.

So, my absolutely adorable 2 year old niece has a saying. She tells her dad, "That's fergalicious, Pop!" She knows how to get his ipod, turn it on and pull up Fergie's video. Then she sings and dances along. She's two! It's hysterical.

About the fridge debate, I could take or leave the dispenser. I've always been on a well, use bottled water and buy ice so, for me. it's really a waste of money and takes up valuable freezer space. Silver is right. There's never enough freezer space. I'm a big fan of the traditional freezer-on-top style. It's hard to get frozen pizzas into a side by side, no matter how big the freezer is. Pull out shelves in the fridge ROCK.

OOOhhhhh .... AAAhhhhhh! Nice redesign team!

You know how they say that women who work together seem to be on the same cycle or begin to think a like ... well I think there is got to be something to it becasue I was just thinking yesterday (becasue it was a terrible day) it wouldn't be odd if our fridge died and the only saving Grace we would have is that its subzero outside now. The theme from X Files is now playing in my head! We love our water & ice dispencer. I would go for the french door style with the freezer on the bottom if you have the space. There is never enough room in the freezer no matter the style so we are going to get a small freezer for the garage - we will keep the important stuff (ice cream etc.) in the house of course.
So I threw up my hands yesterday and knocked off the first 50 pages of the new book I am reading. Love in the Time of Cholera. In the opening pages someone commits sucide, then the doctor who pronounced dies of a freak accident and leaves his wife near death with greif. Obviously the tone of the book matched my day and its proof to the ole mantra ... things happen in 3's!
Today will be much better ... me time at the salon. I think I am going to request they wash my hair 2 times.

{{{{{Silver}}}}} Hope the {hug} helps!

My "Murphy's moment" of the day -

Went to B.J.'s Wholesale this last weekend to stock up on groceries, you know, fresh, refrigerated stuff, frozen stuff, meats and etc.

This morning, woke up to a refrigerator that had died!!! Yup - deader than a doornail!

So... by the (I guess) lucky grace that we live where we do, my "freezer" is now 2 coolers stuffed with food in our garage thanks to 20 degree temps and I had help lugging home the apartment sized fridge from my office (that hasn't been used in 2 years anyhow) and stuffed everything I could in there.

I guess the bright side is I get to go shopping tonight - for a new fridge  I wish it could be more fun like 'the airline lost my whole bag of clothes last week'. Clothes shopping = fun. Appliance shopping = overpriced boredom.

At least the girls are excited, they left for school with, "Does this mean we can FINALLY get one of those refrigerators with the water and ice thingy?"

Oh...the little things that can make them so happy!
