hey guys! I was just reading your (crewchief) post, and I seen that your family is into drag racing, my hubby has a '70 road runner. when he runs, he's in street class. he's had it since he was 18. longer than he's had me. we go to a local track every once in a while. my girls hate doing it. i really miss it. we did it a lot before kids. we spend most of our time either at softball fields or gymnastics meets. we're hoping once they get into college, we can get back into it. (wishful thinking)

i'm really glad these boards are here too. you guys have been so warm and welcoming. thank you!!!!

Think Tim will give $$ prize to the 1000 poster of this thread?

Love IRP and the Brickyard!! Indiana has (or had, not sure now) the most racetracks, courses, strips than any state. Gotta have something to do. (well maybe chase all those midwestern girls, but now I'm married)

Lokking to move back to Indy or close proximity, this giant(cesspool) blue state of California is making my business and family account and my political views even more red.

As soon as I refurbish this condo to resell (then I get to do it all over again) If I didnt love my wife and kids, I wouldnt be a glutton for punishment.

PS I'm a twin too... (I'm the oldest by 18 minutes) and my brother will never forget it :D

Hey Shawn, Indy is my 2nd home these days. We're drag racers (hence the screen name)and we spend a lot of time at IRP. Plus, we have family in Lebanon.

My husband quit playing trivia games with me when I won 1,000,000 points because I knew the sum of the numbers on the hats of Mini Pearl and the Mad Hatter. That's not even normal but somehow I knew it.....

I was born in '65. So was my best friend and my twin brother. We have a little too much fun reminiscing!

On these boards everyone has been so nice and welcoming. I'm having a great time here - just trying real hard not to become addicted.

Well, today is 'clean out the basement' day. (can't race in the rain...) We'll probaby throw away more than we pack but the less I have to take with me to Alabama the happier I'll be!

I grew up in the wrong era (late 60-mid 70's Hard Rock/Metal/Southern Rock for me) and any country music (really anything but Rap-UGH)-
I'm the 'King of useless information/ and not so useless info' a walking encyclopedia of 'Infotainment' as my good buddy David Letterman would say.
Welcome to the boards, many of us have large post #'s but it not an inclusive group.
A bunch of lovely ladies and a few of us guys just sharing what we know and offering incouragement.

Either way, moving is hard work! I'm moving from central Illinois to northeast Alabama. My husband laughs at me. We're pre house hunting on line. He looks for a giant detached garage and I hit the local school's website to see if they have a parent group. Our son just wants a pool. I guess the actual house doesn't really matter!

I've been watching most of the posts on the other subjects. It seems that the regulars in here are out there giving great advice and encouraging everyone. As a newbie to the boards, I really appreciate it. Thanks TONS!
