Homeschool on a cruiseship, etc... That'sounds fun as long as its not the cruise ship that skipped all its stoppovers (because it was behind schedule) then tried to appease passengers by giving 50% on next trip- Like anyone would be going on that line again... I'd be getting full refund AND a next trip free on a competetors ship.

Rural IN used to do it for farmer market days, close early on Wed or for a basketball game

our SCHOOLS close down on weds after lunch, all year long. dont know if its left over from farming times, or what, but its still around. kids love it. drives parents crazy.

You know anywhere in TN is a great place to live.
We live in Carthage, TN and it is great. Still small townish. The streets roll up on Wednesdays. Everything is closed. I love it.

You are also within minutes of some great shopping, great outdoors.

Ive also heard homeshcool on a cruise ship is not a bad way to go, and dump the mortgage. Plus medical is free on baord (works well for senior citizens anyway, is cheaper than a nursing home, seems, plus you get to see lots of neat sights)
