Selling the condo? What will you do with your deep freeze?
So my best friend told me that George Bush was in Peoria, IL today. He presented a volunteer award and then spoke at Caterpillar. She didn't even try to go downtown since she had the day off but she did see Air Force One fly over her house! She says she's not a very big fan of GW but respects the office of the President of the United States and wish she'd made it to hear him speak.
Getting ready to sell our Condo... hopefully starting a 2nd job... so its gonna be a small SB party

He's been busy doing his Happy Dance for the Colts. Colts by 13, huh? My Indiana dwelling BIL would love that! But the rest of the family will be cheering on Da Bears!
Back to bully parents, whenever I return to our "home" area, I purposely avoid one town when house hunting because of an old neighbor. I mean, I can take her easy but I don't need the drama and neither does my son. So, I would never move away because of her but I also wouldn't deliberately put my son in the same school as her son.
So, Shawn, besides actually falling off into the ocean, is there anything that hasn't happened to SoCal this year? It's starting to look like there's one giant target on you over there.
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."

The Today report was right on. We have had quite a few parents change schools because of the bully problem. Sad to say it has even involved parents taking their kids out because they didn't want their kids getting backlash during school due to parents behavior in past situations. It's amazing how aggresive the society has gotten over the years - the drive to succeed in no matter what - at whatever cost. I think this will be the next book on my purchase list ~ one of those keepers no doubt.
Da Beers, Da Beers, Da Beers ...
I was wondering where Shawn ran off ~ just figured he was getting all the party fixins together for us. Get that big screen for the game?

Mepergan is a really strong narcotic pain reliver combined with an antihistamine so it doens't make you sick. Like most narcotics, it makes you feel good (not have pain either) and the antihistamine is what makes you hyper like a two year old. I took it prior to a surgery I needed and had been putting off until the kids were out of school. It also helps with anxiety. The sad thing is your body needs sleep to get better and it makes it very hard. As for saving some for PTO events, I have all kinds of back and hip issues and my doctor does give me something for the PTO events not all that different from this.
My feet hurt so bad between climbing up and down the capital building all day and skating last night that I handed my 3 year old a gameboy and told him to sit next to me on the couch with my laptop this afternoon. Seriously, the gameboy is my saving grace with him so many times that it's sad. I quietly plays it during meetings, doctor appointments, migraines...
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
