You're right about some of those sports parents. sheesh. A mom at the kid's karate class right before our class acts like her son is the next Jackie Chan and struts around like the queen mother. I've never seen her giant rear end out there throwing punches and kicks though so she really ought to just sit down and be quiet. It's her kid who deserves the recognition and respect, not her. Ok..... touchy subject for me.....

Anyone watch the Today Show this morning? I was on the treadmill at the gym and they kept saying, "Later in the show we talk about school bullies. Not the kids this time but the parents. Yep, Queen Bee Moms and King Pin Dads and their control over the community." But the story never actually came on. By the time I was done working out and got home the show was over.

GaMom, I was laughing hysterically at that post too. I could just see you running wildly through your house cleaning and folding with stuff lying everywhere! I get that way if I take too big of a dose of Sudafed. It's like I drank a 12 pack of Mt. Dew.
We don't have snow, but WOW is it cold here today! Wind chills are way below 0.
Happy day everyone and happy day after your anniversary CC. Spent the weekend in NJ to see my momma. Trying to get up there more often for "no big deal" visits. It was nice and only had 2 of the boys (2 is soooo easy ).
One home sick today and the sears person comes ... woo hoo...big day for us...we'll have clean dishes AND ice cubes again. Is life going to get and better....d
Happy Tuesday All! Was up quite a bit last night with the kids ... both have picked up a cold from the germ factory otherwise known as school. Of course no decent cold meds in the house so ran for meds after dinner in the snow. I wonder how many days Mother Nature is going to make us pay for wanting snow way back when. It has to be 2 weeks straight of snow now. Even my kids, who can spend hours out in the snow, are asking when it will be spring.
Received some flower mags in the mail last week & have been pouring over them with delight. Now the next task will be to pick the plants wildlife will not eat.
