Sorry, just got back from teaching my class. I'll definately take a drink! Our school majority is Hispanic, we used to have and African-American principal and the only parents interested in coming to meetings or volunteering were Caucasiun (the minority) and yet we were always made out to be the snobbish white people when all we wanted to do was have a multicultural event. I never saw the connection except that only white people were willing to work to put anything together. I don't know if it's the weather or what but my kids are weird: the older one has b*tchy, the middle one is weepy, and the younger one keeps yelling everything. My nerves are shot because we are really busy and constantly on top of each other and I need a break.
The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
Looks like we're drinking alone tonight, Shawn.... Wanna play darts? I suck pretty bad at darts so you're sure to win. We used to play with neighbors and they'd fight about who had to take me.
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."

Your in..... just as long as you remind me (if I have questions again) to cc: the school principal when I email the Attny Gen, Super and ACLU about the PTA's member vs. nonmember fees for an activity night - so she doesnt feel ambushed about a PTA problem (by ME). I didnt even think to add her- Its a problem with the PTA and thier focus on #'s and members NOT programs, goals and vision
I need a stiff drink

I'm not big on bad language funny stuff-- but he's like me 'An Equal Opportunity Offender' -- he's one of my fave's when I need a quick laff-- I just pop in one of his taped shows or downloaded internet audio stuff
His Katrina show IS offensive but absolutely hysterical
I'm a ma'am and sir person till I get to know you (or worse- that 5th grade teacher with the blonde hair and 2 boys-- I'm TERRIBLE with names)
Cold restaurants should have 'signage that pipes broke-- I'd have asked them to turn the heat on full blast or left
