Off to the Marine Corps Museum with the boys...makes me want to yell hooah--although a marine lt col friend of mine reminded me that was an Army thing. "The Marine Corps doesn't say Hooah--we are hooah"....
Of course she's right !!!

You're right, d. We can't change them. Imagine the fun we'd have if we could!
Silver - I'm right there with you. Sometimes I look at an old bruise or scratch and think, "Huh, that should've hurt but I don't even remember it." Of course, the coumadin makes even the smallest bump turn into a spectacular bruise.
Shawn, sometimes I feel like we're speaking the same twin language and other times I'm just..... ..... You're always funny, though.
Shorty's dinner theatre was fun. Except all the dinner tickets were pre-sold, which I didn't know so we had to sit in folding chairs along the sides of the room and watch everyone else. The two smartest guys in the room? They noticed a corporate table had empty seats so they slid over and snagged a free dinner.

The PTA feels threatened (rightly so- Part of the message is hidden for the guests. Please log in or register to see it. ) and doesnt realize one way is not the only way (or doesnt want to)
There's many ways to get from point A to point B (and many potiential obsticals - I can t spell today either)

Hmmm CC--I didn't even know we could change them. Billions served suits my McDonald's body . Silver...20 years ago we were made of teflon...now we're all satin...at least that's how I like to look at it..and satin shows the marks a bit easier. We also don't bounce, we break .
I'm always curious as to why there are so many PTAers around these boards...and that they feel obliged to critique the PTO aspect of things. Love their input when it is in a share sort of way, but the ankle biter comments get a bit pointless at times.
Now Tim, he's still made of teflon !!!
Hit a patch of nice weather for this weekend. Planning on a good old fashion chicken BBQ tonight. We've spent most of the day outside begining our spring clean up. As I was triming a few plants I looked at my hands and realized I haven't been taking very good care of them. I have nicks and scratches all over them not to mention all kinds of bruises on my legs. I don't remember being this clutzy when I was younger ... okay I will give myself some slack ... before children. Is this a normal thing ... when we age do we begin to have unexplained black & blue spots (well a nice shade of weird green yellow in some cases) and can't remember how those scratches appeared all over our hands? Great how much lotion will I need to invest in now! I already hate going down the lotion isles where all the teens are hanging out to read the self tanners. It can't be that time of year already can it?

Hey d, I hope your #2 is feeling better. Your six year old sounds like a real charmer!
Cold and rainy here today. Shorty's drama class is part of a PTO dinner theatre fund raiser tonight. The band and choir students are also performing. It should be fun! I think it's the only big fundraiser PTO does all year.
I guess if we're going to strive for truth in advertising, as some posters recommend, I'm going to have to change my title. I'm not even close to "almost" as smart as I sound. And I don't even sound that smart to begin with..... Hmmmm, I'll have to think of a new title that is truthful, clever and appropriate for our PG13 forum...... Any suggestions?!?!
