HELP!!!! oh, goodness. At our recent PTO meeting our power ridden president accussed me of slander and belittling our school to our principal and everyone else at the meeting. She stated I was doing it on this website. But she did not check out her facts. I have never used any names or made any references about any names or even a location! So it was just NUTS!!! Anyways, after her little attempt to make me look bad. All it did was make our principal doubt our PTO's mission. Which I can see his point. She has turned it into a "dig up dirt on anyone" but herself kind of thing. Needless to say he is considering, disbanding our PTO. My question is how can we help him to see that there are parents who want to be there for their kids and others? I did print off ALL of my posts so he could see that I was NOT,in anyway, belttling our school. But just seeking advice from others. But my concern is how can we get back on track? We had heard rumors our current president may not be at our school next year so hopefully this will help diffuse the need for power! Any advice will be helpful!!! Her attempt was tastless and lame but it still put our PTO in a frenzy!!! PLEASE HELP US!! We want to continue for our kids. We are not titled so we depend heavily on PTO's fundraisers and events. And our teachers need it also, to help them get supplies for the classrooms. THANKS ALL.
