Susanne,
No it does not have that feature. It only has the recurring feature on the calendar. I haven't had any problems "remembering" to email though either. I also remember that it is a FREE website and won't have everything that I need/want on it.....
When you send out an email, is there a feature where you can set a specific time for the email to go out? The beauty about the yahoo distribution list (via the calendar) is you load it once into the calendar and it automatically goes out. The calendar also has a 'repeat' function for those meetings or events that happen each month. Again, you enter it once and you are done. I was hoping orgsites had a similar feature.
On our site, they click the little box to add themselves to our email list. I type up the one email message to send out and then click on everyone's little box so everyone gets one. It just doesn't send out a reminder because I have something on the calendar..at least not that I'm aware of. I have to manually send it out.
I know that orgsites.com has also said they are looking into adding a message board feature.
Do either one of you know how the email distribution list works on the orgsites webpage? I set up one last year using Yahoo groups. I put everything on the calendar in yahoo, and it automatically sent out reminder messages. The only problem with using yahoo is the advertisements on each email reminder. Our principal doesn't like the adverts. Does org sites have a similar feature where it sends out automatic reminders?
Hey Speedy G email me your marquee pix, it needs to be lightened. It hard to see what it is?
I'll photoshop it and see if I can bring out some detail.
If you reshoot it, make sure the sun is behind or to the side. If your less than 15ft away, see if your camera will let us the flash to fill in and get rid of shadows or dark spots.
Nice site.
