We started with Great Lakes Scrip in April of this year and have had no issues at all. Everything has been quick and they communicate regularly and the website is fantastic. I am really glad that we started with GL Scrip, I had no idea that there were other Scrip providers. Scrip is new to our high school, but we are doing about $6000 of orders a week. We send out tips of the week and mention some of the purchases that have been made. For example, our parents have replaced two roofs, redone and bathroom, and bought a computer with Scrip! It is really taking off and we love it!
Great Lakes is GREAT!! By far the easiest fund raiser I've ever done. If you haven't tried it, go to www.shopwithscrip.com
an online ordering site from GLSC. Have your coordinator register and get an enrollment code, then pass it out to all your parents with internet access. They place their orders directly online and send their check to school. On the site you can track all kinds of info by family, etc. even add in families who still use the traditional ordering method so you have everyone included in your reports in one place. This has saved me a lot of time. Hope this helps everyone.
This is the first I have ever heard of "other" SCRIP programs!! I am very grateful that we didn't get in with the other programs. A mom from our school introduced us to Great Lakes since she had experienced them thru her church. We started almost a year ago in December of 2005. We have had nothing but EXCELLENT experiences with Great Lakes!!! Deliveries are always on time. They are always helpful, communication is clear, and I could go on & on!! Being the only one doing the SCRIP program at our elementary school, I wouldn't be doing it at all if Great Lakes didn't help in that process! Thank you to all at Great Lakes!! I knew they were the best around!!
How are orders from GL going this summer? Any backorders?
Our scrip program shuts down over the summer and starts back in September with huge orders. We got into trouble last year with Scrip Advantage because their issues began over the summer while we were closed.
